Client Connection |
Thinking about coming to A/VAH for the first
time but not sure what to expect?
|
When you walk into A/VAH,
you will be greeted by the Client Service Representatives. They will ask you to
complete client and patient information forms and also ask you
to sign the Virginia Disclosure Form. For your convenience,
links to these forms are listed below. We encourage you to
print these forms and complete them prior to your appointment,
in order to save some time when you get here. Once the
receptionist has collected the necessary forms, he or she will enter
the information into the computer and start a new chart for your
pet. |
 |
|
|
|
|
|
After the charting is complete, the Client Service
Representative will give your
chart to a technician or assistant. He or she will then call you
into an exam room. The technician/assistant will ask you some
basic questions, get your pet’s weight, and maybe take your
pet’s temperature. Once the technician has finished, the doctor
will perform an exam and discuss further care for your pet.
(Estimates can be provided prior to further services.)
|
|
Once your
visit is complete, the doctor or technician will leave the room
to enter appropriate charges into the computer and also prepare
medications, if needed. At the close of your visit, you will be
escorted back to the reception area where the receptionist will
check you out.
