In August of
2002 Augusta Veterinary Hospital and Valley Animal Hospital
announced a merger to combine the two hospitals into one new
hospital.
Almost two years later,
the new, state-of-the-art hospital, was complete. Both
existing hospitals moved in to the new facility on April 1st,
2004. |

Dr's: Don Henry, Lisa Miller,
Lawrence Evans, Ben Brown. |

The merger has brought two of Staunton's strongest veterinary
practices . It has provided tremendous benefits for
clients and their pets. The blending of the two hospital staffs
has enabled Augusta/Valley Animal Hospital the opportunity to
offer a wider variety of services with more combined
veterinarian experience. The new, convenient, state-of-the-art
facility has accommodated a range of animal care resources not
possible in small clinics. |
|
Dr's
Brown, Evans, Henry,
and Miller continue providing the same compassionate,
personalized care for which they are known. And, pet owners are
still able to request the veterinarian of their choice. |

AVAH participated in the 2005 Staunton 4th of
July parade. |

Augusta/Valley Animal Hospital continues to maintain its
American Animal Hospital Association Certification (AAHA).
The AAHA accreditation is voluntary but ensures that
Augusta/Valley Animal Hospital complies with rigorous
veterinary care standards and ensures that pets are
receiving the best possible care.
In the past, Augusta
Veterinary Hospital and Valley Animal Hospital both
aspired to the same standard of service. Providing
excellence in veterinary care for companion animals will
continue to be the guiding principle of the new
Augusta/Valley Animal Hospital. |
